Portfolio

Our experience in the South Bay, including the openings of San Diego’s first bi-cultural community bank and Northgate Market’s first San Diego store, we know the importance of connecting with all minority press -with a special focus on Latinx PR, Asian and Filipino Press – which are often ignored by PR firms despite reaching a large and influential audience.

Vibra Bank – A group of investors, including Enrique Schon — a commercial real estate development company owner in Tijuana and founder, major shareholder and member of the Board of Directors of Banca Mifel, a Mexican bank with over $900 million in assets and 17 branches in Mexico – approached Lee and London Director Brendi Rawlin to launch the first bi-cultural community bank in San Diego.  LLPR managed the press conference and opening that featured representatives from the Latino business community, media, local elected officials like the Mayor of Chula Vista and Director of the Economic Development Corporation to give this bank a grand, and visible welcome, to the neighborhood.  LLPR secured coverage in publications in both English and Spanish-speaking outlets including Enlace, La Prensa, El Mexicano, San Diego Business Journal, Union-Tribune, Metropolitan Magazine, Biz San Diego, El Latino, Hispanos Unidos as well as TV stations, Univision and ABC.

Northgate Markets – Lee and London team members managed the PR for the opening of Northgate Gonzalez Markets’ first San Diego location.  The event featured a local marching band, prizes and a press conference that was attended by local English and Spanish-speaking media, including Univision, Telemundo, El Latino, La Prensa, Enlace, the Union-Tribune, San Diego Business Journal and more.  We also hosted a VIP luncheon for local community leaders and elected officials and gave behind-the-scenes media tours of the store prior to its opening.  Our team also managed outreach to the local community to fill hundreds of jobs, using media, door hangers in both English and Spanish distributed to homes within the immediate area and targeted surrounding communities.
