Perfect for all ages, guests can sample and purchase delicious chocolate creations from some of San Diego’s best chocolatiers and dessert shops. There will also be a cupcake decorating station for the kids, a craft vendor village and even a 21+ lounge featuring paired chocolate/cocktails.
The Berry Best Chocolate Fest takes place the weekend prior to Easter Sunday so guests can sample and stock up on Easter chocolates and take a fun photo with The Easter Bunny.
“We wanted to create a fun event where people could see and taste all the chocolate San Diego has to offer,” said Lynda West, Founder of Berry Best Chocolate Fest. “Many people don’t realize that we have so many fantastic chocolatiers here. This event allows people to shop among the top chocolate brands and sample chocolate from companies they’ve never heard of. We can’t wait to introduce a new world of chocolate to the San Diego community in a relaxed environment. This event is going to be fun, silly, exciting and of course…delicious!”
The family-friendly fest also offers a chocolate pie-eating contest for adults and children, starting at 2:00 p.m. The winner of the contest will receive a dream prize for chocolate lovers: $250 in gift cards to top San Diego chocolate shops.
2016 media partners include KyXy 96.5 and Energy 103.7.
Early Bird tickets are now on sale for $15 through March 18. Guests can purchase tickets at the door for $20. Discounted military tickets are available through March 19.
Proceeds from the event help support The Helen Woodward Animal Center, a nonprofit no-kill animal shelter that receives no government funding and relies heavily on tax-deductible contributions from private donors to continue its life saving mission.
