In 2006 the San Diego Professionals Against Cancer hired our team to take over the PR, marketing and advertising efforts for the nonprofit group’s flagship even, the San Diego Festival of Beer.
L&L PR team members have helped the festival grow for the past 9 years, landing coverage in top print, broadcast and online publications including: Fox 5, KUSI News, San Diego 6 and NBC 7, San Diego Magazine, WHERE Magazine, Examiner, Global Traveler, Thrillst and About Travel.
Each year the team seeks out new ideas to get the festival new light and spread the word about the cancer-fighting fundraiser.. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the festival, the team invited Mayor Kevin Faulconer, who proclaimed September 19 as the San Diego Festival of Beer Day.
In 2014 the festival reached new numbers as the L&L team secured coverage resulting in total reach of 28,409,235
