Lee & London was tasked with promoting the first ever Berry Best Chocolate Fest in 2015. In addition to traditional media relations efforts, our team also managed the print and outdoor advertising and digital marketing for the festival. We secured press coverage in all local newspapers and local TV stations, including CW 6, Fox and KUSI. With a very small budget for advertising, our team worked closely with Clear Channel to develop an outdoor campaign utilizing billboards and bus stop shelters targeting “foodie” areas of San Diego County. The client’s goal for attendance was 1,500. The day of the event brought out over 3,500 people. Our work didn’t stop the day of the event. With so many people lined up to get in the venue, our team immediately assisted with check-ins and ticket sales at the front gate.
