WildAid

Our team was tapped by the San Francisco-based charity WildAid to promote its annual gala fundraiser in Beverly Hills. Our team handled pre-coverage press, Red Carpet arrivals and post event coverage.

We worked with WildAid celebrity ambassadors Bo Derek, Josh Duhamel (the 2017 Wildlife Champion), Michael Cudlitz to arrange interviews including KTLA, KCBS, Entertainment Tonight, Life & Style, Us Weekly, Star Magazine and many more local LA publications.

Our total media impressions for the gala reached 1.69 billion with 1.41 million estimated coverage views.

In 2018 we were again retained and began our work earlier in the year securing a feature story in People Magazine with ambassador Bo Derek detailing her summer trip to Mexico with WildAid to swim with whale sharks.

Other coverage included sit-down interviews on the third hour of the Today Show and Access Hollywood Live. Major press attending the gala included the Hollywood Reporter, Huffington Post and Us Weekly magazine in addition to all the major LA wire photogs (Getty, WireImage, BroadImage, etc).

Our 2017 results:
⇒ 1.69 billion online readership with 1.41 million estimated coverage views. And a total publicity value of $500,000.
⇒ A record $2.5 million was raised at the gala
⇒ Our team secured ET’s Keltie Knight to present Josh Duhamel with the Wildlife Champion Award, an arranged a sit-down exclusive interview at the event
Our 2018 results:
⇒ 2.19 billion online readership with 2.52 million estimated coverage views. And a total publicity value of $1.05 million.
Nearly double 2017’s numbers
⇒ Interviews on NBC Today, Access Hollywood Live, KTLA, People Magazine among others
⇒ The gala raised $2.4 million despite the event happening during the Malibu wildfires that caused thousands to be evacuated.

Lee and London team members were on the PR team for the San Diego Film Festival for 4 years. The SDFF draws attendees from across the US for a week of film premiers, nightly after-parties, award ceremonies and other special events. Over the course of our tenure with the festival, our work:

More than 100 media placements each year, including top tier targets like GQ, “Entertainment Tonight,” Variety, “Access Hollywood,” New York Times, Cosmopolitan and Los Angeles Times.

Garnered national industry, editor and regional awards for the Festival.

Saw film submissions increase from 500 to more than 2,000

Boosted sponsorships from 100 percent trade-outs to a total cash/trade value of more than $1 million.

Our team was tapped to help increase awareness of San Diego’s largest distributor of donated food: Feeding America San Diego (FASD). OUr role including promoting  major initiatives like:

We also launched their new space – a 4,400 square foot distribution center – bringing major local media on-site during the ribbon-cutting to showcase their commitment to distributing 1 million of pounds of food.

We also partnered with major brands like Albertson’s, Target, Newman’s Own and Kraft for major media sponsorships, including the launch of their new cold storage unit, which helped distribute an extra 3 million pounds of fresh fruits and veggies annually.

Our campaign has helped secure:

Targeted features in business, community publications to target potential donors, corporate sponsors

More than 20,000 pounds of diapers for families in need

Designs for the Cure - Susan G. Komen LA

Our team was tapped by the Los Angeles County chapter of Susan G. Komen to take the reins for their first ever Designs for the Cure fundraising gala. SGKLA trusted LLPR to handle all publicity efforts in a month-span with a goal of a sold-out ballroom, nationwide press and a massive celebrity turnout.

The event, hosted by legendary designer David Meister, was an outstanding success, drawing celebrity attendees like the musician Smash, Emmanuelle Chriqui of “Entourage” Fame and Sarah Ramirez of “Grey’s Anatomy”, to name a few. Our team secured coverage in target outlets like People, Los Angeles Times, LA Magazine, KTLA, and Radar Online.

For the 2012 gala, we came back bigger and better than ever, securing television personality Lauren Conrad as host, selling out the ballroom and increasing the media coverage over 70% than the previous year, as well as:

Leveraging Lauren Conrad as host to secure features in key target outlets including Access Hollywood, US Weekly, Life & Style, Associated Press, Los Angeles Times, MSN, Glamour Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, AMP Radio and much more

Berry Best Chocolate Fest

Lee & London was tasked with promoting the first ever Berry Best Chocolate Fest in 2015. In addition to traditional media relations efforts, our team also managed the print and outdoor advertising and digital marketing for the festival.  We secured press coverage in all local newspapers and local TV stations, including CW 6, Fox and KUSI. With a very small budget for advertising, our team worked closely with Clear Channel to develop an outdoor campaign utilizing billboards and bus stop shelters targeting “foodie” areas of San Diego County.  The client’s goal for attendance was 1,500. The day of the event brought out over 3,500 people. Our work didn’t stop the day of the event. With so many people lined up to get in the venue, our team immediately assisted with check-ins and ticket sales at the front gate.
